Tide Lose 30-8 in Tier II Final

The Truro Tide finished the 2011 season with a 30-8 loss to the Dartmouth Destroyers White in the NSMFA Tier II Finals.  The game was closely contested, despite the final score and the Tide fought hard all the way to the end.

Michael Adams led the offense with 118 yards rushing and 1 touchdown in 16 carries.  He also scored the 2 point PAT after the TD to give the Tide the early lead.  He was also awarded with MVP honors for the Tide by the opposition at the end of the game.

Defensively, JaMychal Cartwright led the way with 5 tackles and 1 pass defensed.  Kyle Taker and Garrett Hillyard also contributed with 3 tackles apiece.

Congratulations to the Tide and all of the TMFA teams for a great season.  Hopefully, there will be more to come in 2012!  We will see you all at the banquets this weekend and look forward to working with you all again next year!
