Parents are Members Too!

Parents have been at the core of the success of TMFA for over 50 years.  Without you, there would be no TMFA!  As such, TMFA is committed to educating the parents in the rules of Canadian football and providing any resources that can help maximize your enjoyment of the games.  It is obvious that the kids have fun when they play, but we see you parents having a great time in the stands as well.

Football 101

Football 101 is a presentation that TMFA runs a few times at the beginning of each year with the goal of educating parents in the game of Canadian football.  This presentation details all of the major rules and regulations that make Canadian football stand apart from its American football counterpart.  Download the presentation to learn more about the game and how it is played.

Volunteer Information

TMFA is able to keep registration rates among the lowest in Nova Scotia through the help of dedicated volunteers.  Help keep the TMFA spirit of volunteering strong by stepping up and doing your part for the association.  The "Parent Information Sheet" offers a few pieces of information that parents should know regarding registration and how to help out.
